Angela began her career in Brand Licensing in 1989 when the industry was still in its infancy. Her understanding of retail and buying meant that was quickly promoted through the company, becoming Joint Managing Director of CPLG* – a public company, a position she held until May 1996.

In June 1996 Angela, together with co‐founder Melvin Thomas formed TLC (The Licensing Company Ltd). Since its formation TLC has rapidly become recognized as the Global Leader in Brand Extension with a powerful roster of blue chip clients, and wholly owned brands.

Angela retains responsibility for Global Retail Development for the group; working directly with all international offices to drive brand initiatives and innovation around the world. TLC’s reputation and success earned it a place in the Sunday Times Fast Track International Companies** and the Daily Telegraphs’ – 200 Companies to Inspire Britain***

2005‐2012 Angela ran the North American operation, during which time she secured  global clients that changed the profile of the business and in 2010 completed a Joint Venture with Iconix Brand Group US, creating ownership in over 17 lifestyle brands for Europe, MENA, China & SE Asia.

In January 2014 TLC was acquired by Global Brands Group (GBG) Holding Limited, a $4bn group of operating companies publically traded on the HK stock exchange. 

In June 2016, TLC/ GBG Brand Management merged with the licensing division of CAA (Creative Artists Agency). 

TLC/CAA‐GBG has combined its expertise, expansive reach and celebrity portfolio to become the worlds leading brand Extension Company. In 2016 retail sales topped $12.4BN through 24 wholly owned offices across EMEA, APAC and the Americas. The company name was shortened to CAA Global Brands.

In May 2016, Angela was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership in Brand Licensing, and is a Mentor to the Women’s Business Council

Angela has a strong affiliation to the charity www.railwaychildren.org, and spent 10 days working on the ground in East Africa with homeless children and the organization in 2017.
