Global Fashion Group , Co-CEO
Christoph Barchewitz is co-CEO of Global Fashion Group (GFG) and a member of its management board. He joined GFG in 2015 as a non-executive director and took on the co-CEO role in early 2018.
Before joining GFG, Barchewitz was an investment director at Kinnevik, an investment company focusing on digital consumer businesses, from 2014 to 2018, where he oversaw the ecommerce investment portfolio. This included brands such as: Zalando, Global Fashion Group, Home24, Westwing, Lazada and Linio. From 2007 to 2014 Barchewitz worked in telecom, media and technology (TMT) investment banking at Goldman Sachs in London and New York. Previously he was a TMT-focused consultant at Solon Management Consulting in Munich.
Barchewitz holds a degree in Business Administration (BA) from the University of Mannheim Business School, where he graduated in 2003. Along with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University, School of International and Public Affair where he studied from 2005 to 2007. Barchewitz also serves as the chairman of the Supervisory Board at Westwing Group; the European listed home and living ecommerce business.
