After graduating with a degree in Business and minors in Mathematics and Physics, Nicola  began her career in Investment services working with Morgan Stanley in Boston, Massachusetts. Over the course of the next 7 years, Nicola moved from Boston to Dublin, Ireland and then onto San Francisco, California where she focused on consulting in trading analytics and fund management..

In 2003, Nicola transitioned seamlessly into her first fashion position at Gap, Inc in San Francisco within merchandising in the online business. Within the Gap, Inc brand, Nicola moved to London in 2005 to open the newly created Gap Europe Headquarters.  In 2007, she joined LK Bennett as Merchandise Manager, working alongside founder Linda Bennett to prepare the business for sale. Following the sale of the business in 2009, Nicola then became Head of Merchandising at Hobbs where she helped launch the NW3 sub-brand. She then spent several years working in Karen Millen as Commercial Director re-launching the Karen Millen Brand. Nicola now works at Pentland Brands as Brand Director, Fashion for the Footwear division leading fashion brand management to deliver Mens’ and Womens’ collections. In addition to working at Pentland Brands, Nicola advises Iterate Studio- a digital innovation business headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
