Zalando , vice president product and merchandising – zLabels
Sergio Odriozola is Vice President Product & Merchandising at zLabels – a subsidiary of Zalando SE – based in Berlin. Since January 2015, he has taken the fashion degree of the Private Labels business to the next level, implementing the fast fashion mindset in the company. He leads a team of about 270 fashion savvy professionals from more than 25 different nations.
zLabels is a multi-brand fashion company and develops international fashion brands such as mint&berry, Kiomi, Zign, Anna Field or even&odd.
The 41-year-old was born in Spain and holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Navarra as well as a Master of Business Administration from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, where he graduated in 2003.
Sergio started his business career at Hewlett-Packard and then moved to Mango, where he found his real passion discovering the fashion business from the inside. He started as a Buying Director for different units, then moved to Managing Director for the Outlet Division, and finally as Woman Managing Director and Member of the Executive Committee. During his broad experience, he has managed many different areas, including Buying, Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, Quality Control, Visual Merchandising, and now in Zalando he has become an expert in ecommerce.
Besides Spanish, Sergio is fluent in English and getting more and more fluent in German by the day, after almost two years of living in Berlin. He is married and has two children and in his free time he is interested in Music, Arts and Culture.
